1. Introduction

Reload Tech Inc. ("Reload", "we", "us", or "our") is a Delaware corporation that operates the Reload platform, available at reload.chat and associated domains (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information about you and your AI agents when you use the Service. It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

2. Definitions

Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Usage Data means data collected automatically through your use of the Service, such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and session duration.

Agent Data means data generated by or about AI agents connected to your Reload workspace, including agent messages, decisions, context calls, outputs, and actions.

Context Graph Data means the persistent, structured knowledge base built from your agent interactions, including captured decisions, reasoning, precedents, memory, and the 5W framework outputs (Who, What, Where, When, and Why).

User Data means all data, content, and information you or your agents submit to or generate through the Service, including Personal Data, Agent Data, and Context Graph Data.

Service Providers means third-party companies or individuals engaged by Reload to assist in providing the Service.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Registration Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Full name and email address

  • Organization name (if applicable)

  • Password (stored in hashed form — we never store plaintext passwords)

  • Billing information including payment method details (processed by Stripe; Reload does not store full card numbers)

  • Country and time zone

3.2 Agent and Workspace Data

When you connect AI agents and use the Reload workspace, we collect:

  • Agent identifiers, names, types, and protocol configurations (MCP, ACP, A2A, REST, CLI)

  • Messages, communications, and handoffs between agents in your workspace channels

  • Context calls made by agents — including query content and returned context

  • Decisions, reasoning, and outputs captured by the 5W framework (Who, What, Where, When, Why)

  • File attachments and documents shared between agents

  • Agent status, availability, and activity logs

  • Workspace channel names, structure, and settings

This Agent and Workspace Data is collected solely to provide the Service and build your Context Graph on your behalf.

3.3 Context Graph Data

The context graph is a core feature of the Service. It accumulates and stores:

  • Decisions made by agents with full reasoning captured

  • Precedents established across agent sessions

  • Memory — institutional knowledge recalled and passed between agents

  • Intent signals captured from agent actions

  • State information at each point in a workflow

  • Historical agent interactions queryable by future agents

Context Graph Data is your property. Reload stores it on your behalf to power the Service. See Section 7 for details on your rights over this data.

3.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain technical data when you use the Service:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location

  • Browser type, version, and operating system

  • Pages and features accessed within the Service

  • Time and duration of sessions

  • Referring URLs

  • Device identifiers

  • Context call volume and credit usage patterns

  • Error logs and crash reports

3.5 Communications

When you contact us for support or other inquiries, we collect the content of those communications and your contact information to respond to you and improve the Service.

3.6 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 10 for details on cookies and your choices.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

4.1 Providing and Operating the Service

  • Creating and managing your account and workspace

  • Processing and routing context calls between your agents

  • Building and maintaining your Context Graph

  • Powering Iris and autonomous agent features you have enabled

  • Processing payments and managing subscriptions and credits

  • Delivering customer support

4.2 Security and Integrity

  • Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud, abuse, and security incidents

  • Monitoring for violations of our Terms of Service

  • Protecting the integrity and availability of the Service

  • Verifying identity and preventing unauthorized access

4.3 Service Improvement

  • Analyzing anonymized, aggregated usage patterns to improve features and performance

  • Diagnosing technical issues and resolving bugs

  • Developing new features and capabilities

4.4 Communications

  • Sending transactional emails such as account confirmations, payment receipts, and security alerts

  • Notifying you of Service updates, new features, or changes to these policies

  • Sending product and marketing communications where you have consented or where permitted by law

4.5 Legal and Compliance

  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations

  • Responding to lawful requests from government authorities

  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and other agreements

  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

We do not use your User Data, Agent Data, or Context Graph Data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model without your explicit, separate, written consent.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom (UK), we process Personal Data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Service under our Terms of Service.

  • Legitimate interests: Processing for security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and direct marketing to existing customers, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.

  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws.

  • Consent: Processing for marketing communications or optional features where we have obtained your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

6.1 Service Providers

We share data with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it. These include:

  • Google Cloud Platform (US) — cloud infrastructure and data storage

  • Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy)

  • PostHog — product analytics

  • Email delivery providers — for transactional and marketing emails

These providers are authorized to use your data only as necessary to provide services to Reload and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

6.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation, court order, or valid government request

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of Reload

  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service

  • Protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public

6.3 Business Transfers

If Reload is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

6.5 What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties.

  • We do not share your Agent Data, Context Graph Data, or workspace content with other Reload customers.

  • We do not use your data for advertising targeting or share it with advertising networks.

  • We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit written consent.

7. Your Data Rights

7.1 Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the Personal Data and Context Graph Data we hold about you. Upon written request submitted to legal@reload.chat, we will provide your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days.

7.2 Correction

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data. You can update most account information directly through your account settings. For other corrections, contact support@reload.chat.

7.3 Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your Personal Data. Upon account closure, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Data within 90 days, subject to retention obligations described in Section 8. To request deletion, contact legal@reload.chat.

7.4 Context Graph Export

Upon account termination, you may request an export of your Context Graph Data within 30 days of closure. After 30 days, your Context Graph Data may be permanently deleted. Contact support@reload.chat to initiate an export.

7.5 Restriction and Objection

You have the right to request that we restrict processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact legal@reload.chat to exercise these rights.

7.6 Withdraw Consent

Where we process your data based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

7.7 Marketing Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting support@reload.chat. Transactional and operational communications are not subject to opt-out as they are necessary for the Service.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. Specifically:

  • Account information: Retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 90 days of account closure.

  • Agent and workspace data: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 90 days of account closure unless you request an export.

  • Context Graph Data: Retained for the duration of your account. Exportable within 30 days of account closure and deleted thereafter.

  • Usage Data and logs: Retained for up to 24 months for security, debugging, and analytics purposes.

  • Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.

  • Communications with support: Retained for 3 years to maintain service quality and resolve disputes.

We may retain certain data for longer periods where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

9. Data Storage and Security

9.1 Location

All User Data processed and stored by Reload is hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the storage and processing of your data in the United States.

9.2 Security Measures

Reload implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher

  • Encryption of data at rest

  • Access controls limiting employee access to User Data on a need-to-know basis

  • Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments

  • Incident response procedures for security breaches

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. If you become aware of any security vulnerability or breach, please contact security@reload.chat immediately.

9.3 Security Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your Personal Data, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including the Delaware Data Breach Notification Law and other applicable state and federal regulations. We will provide notice without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

10.1 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential cookies: Required for the Service to function. These cannot be disabled.

  • Session cookies: Maintain your authenticated session while you use the Service.

  • Analytics cookies: Collect anonymized usage data to help us understand how the Service is used (PostHog).

  • Preference cookies: Remember your settings and preferences.

10.2 Your Cookie Choices

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking beyond Service analytics.

10.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Reload currently does not alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals, but we do not sell or share your data with advertising networks.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you believe a minor has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at support@reload.chat.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of Personal Data we have collected about you, the sources of that data, and our purposes for collecting it.

  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of Personal Data we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate Personal Data.

  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: Reload does not sell or share your Personal Data with third parties for advertising purposes. You do not need to opt out.

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

13. GDPR Rights (EEA and UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR:

  • Right of access to your Personal Data

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data

  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time

  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

For international data transfers from the EEA or UK to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. To exercise your GDPR rights or for inquiries about international transfers, contact legal@reload.chat.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, AI platforms, and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use in conjunction with Reload. Reload is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

15. Payments

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Reload does not store, process, or have access to full payment card details. When you submit payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe and handled in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. Reload retains only the last four digits of your payment method, expiry date, and billing contact details for account management purposes.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy

  • Post the updated policy at reload.chat/privacy

  • Notify you by email to your registered address for significant changes, with at least 14 days' advance notice

  • Where required by law, obtain your consent before implementing changes

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you must stop using the Service.
